1. When you play full-out, you always win. There are two ways to approach your life. You can stand on the sidelines and wait to see what comes to you, or you can play full-out and give 100% of yourself to every moment and every task. When you choose to play full-out, every act is done with excellence - from cleaning the cat box, to applying for a new job, or being vulnerable with your partner. Excellence is a state of mind. When you do everything with excellence, guess what? Your life becomes excellent (yup, it's pretty easy math). Yesterday, we all saw the Seahawks come out to play. I believe their intention to win was so strong that it left zero options for anything else to happen. I believe that when you create this same power of intention in your own life, the win you want is guaranteed. Playing full-out seems risky to the mind, but in fact it is the one thing that will insure your success.
2. Positive Vibes are Contagious. You might have heard the saying, "Be the most positive person that you know." Well if you didn't believe in the power of that statement before, the 12th man spirit gave you all of the data you need to believe in it now. The fans of the Seahawks showed us how one persona at a time, and nation can be infected with positive ju-ju. When you become excited, filled-up and positive about life, suddenly you will notice that those around you become excited, filled-up and positive about their lives too. Spread the love!
3. Together we are stronger. Yesterday during the Superbowl celebrations I witness many people putting aside their favorite teams (Steelers, Dolphins,Patriots, etc), and joining together to celebrate football. In the same we we can put aside our favorite affiliations (Christianity, Republican, Educated, Wealthy, Upperclass) and together celebrate human rights, love, compassion. We we come together under the banner of tolerance, we become brothers and sisters. This is our key to changing the world, from this is our strength. Together we really are stronger.
