This weekend I re-learned a great lesson. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
My belief system is that perfection is happening at any given moment. Nothing should be different. No one should be different. Everything is exactly as it should be, and life's events are unfolding perfectly and in my best interest.
This weekend, I was asked to believe that someone I knew should be different they they are. This thought felt so icky and uncomfortable inside my body. It possessed my thought, and made my mind run around like a monkey.
Then, thank god! I had a great memory! When I first moved to the Peninsula, I believed that perfection was happening at any given moment in concept only. So, low and behold, I created a perfect test, a perfect lesson for myself! I worked with a man who was aggressive, angry, condescending, manipulative, mean, and seemingly caused many people harm and left a path of destruction in his wake. I knew deep down in my knower that he had to be perfect, whole and complete just the way he was... and that he didn't need to be different in any way. I had to look, and look, and look deeper to see and experience his perfection. It took about 6 months - but then I got it! I saw how amazing he was, I fell in love with him, and at the same time I created boundaries and made choices to keep myself and my life in alignment with what I wanted, how I wanted to be treated, and what I wanted to create. Imagine my surprise when I realized that it really WAS true, I could be happy, be treated how I wanted to be, live within my values, see him 5 days a week - and he didn't need to be different in any way. It was one of the greatest lessons of my life.
This weekend it took me about 24 hours to remember this. I don't need to, or want to, believe that any person should be different then they are. Everyone really is perfect, whole and complete just the way they are. Remembering this was a huge relief!
It was a real gift because it reminded me in a much deeper way, that I am you and you are me. We are both the same divine energy expressing itself differently.
My job is to reflect back to you your divinity, and to learn from you my own divinity.
I am grateful
