I just recently experienced this. I've dreamed of creating a partnership with other women and other professionals whom I admire and whom share a similar belief system. When I manifested this into a reality, the first thing I felt was resistance, fear, and my mind went crazy with made-up stories, fears from my past, and imagined future "problems". I know that I am not my thoughts, and that some thought are true on others are not true....but how do you tell the difference?
Resistance had such a distinct feeling inside of the body. Can you recognize it? Do you know how to tell the difference between fear and intuition? When do you trust your feelings and when to you kick 'em to the curb and blaze the path to your dreams? Well, I'll give you a few hints. Think about the thing that you want to do. Now, feel how that thought effects your body. Fear and resistance feels contracted. It feels like a tightening within your chest. You shoulders usually cave forward and your chin drops down. Your body might get cold, you might cross your arms. Intuition feels expansive. Your shoulders move back, your spine straightens. Your body might feel warm or excited.
If you keep the thought of what you want to do in your mind as you sit in meditation, you can get an even deeper sense of how that thought feels. Intuition will feel light and tingly at the top of your head. Fear will create a monkey mind of thought.
Your body is a great alley in helping you decide what steps to take! Don't let your fears stop you from creating the life of your dreams! If you want to learn more, contact me.
