Let someone "surf " your couch
Join Couchsurfing (https://www.couchsurfing.org/) and offer your couch, floor and yard space to a complete stranger. Not only are you helping make someone's travel dreams come true, while they are with you, you can shower the with love, gratitude and attention! Plus, you get the benefit of making friends all over the world!
Random gift (just open the phone book!)
This one is easy! Open the phone book, and pick a name. Send that person a anonymous random gift!
Join Pen Pals or Post Crossing
Do you love writing? Do you have love, kindness, inspiration and gratitude to pass around? Great! Send a letter or postcard full of kind words to another human on this planet! Visit http://www.postcrossing.com/ or

Pay for the person behind you
It doesn't matter if it is the person behind you at the toll booth, the movies, the drive-through or the grocery store - tell the clerk you'd like to put $5,$10,$20,$50 dollars towards the people who come after you. This one is SO much fun!
Drop a Love Bomb
Join Nate and the peeps over at Love Bomb (http://dropalovebomb.com/) to shower someone with love and positivity! Every week Love Bomb picks someone in need of a little extra love, light and support. That person is then showered in love in the form of comments on their blog.
Visit someone who doesn't have visitors
Bring flowers, cards, gifts (and yourself, if it's allowed) to a local hospital or nursing home. Ask the staff to give them to someone who doesn't have any visitors.
Quarters are powerful!
Put Quarters in one or all of the machines at the laundry mat, slip quarters into the parking meters, hide quarters under cans in the grocery store. It's a small amount that can increase the joy of the stranger who finds it exponentially!
Buy a gas card (or several) and put them under unsuspecting windshield wipers on random cars in the parking lot. Leave a nice little note that says, "Enjoy this $5 of gas - Have a wonderful day!"
Pay someone's electric bill
This is a great way to give (I love to do this in Winter, especially around Christmas time). Go to your local utilities center, and ask them to apply $10-$100 to someone's bill who is behind or about to get the electricity shut off.
Write a love letter
Join Hannah (and hundreds of others) by writing love letters to perfect strangers. You can create you own movement privately or within your community - or you can send your letters to Hannah to distribute to those in need. Perhaps you or someone you know needs a bundle of love letters? You can also sign up to receive some love! For more details, visit www.moreloveletters.com.
Buy tires for someones car
Follow this Good Samaritan, and when you see a car with bald tires (maybe someone who lives in your neighborhood or parks by your office), go pay for them to have tires put on their car. Just leave the receipt under their wiper. This good deed not only promotes kindness - it also promotes safety!
